Srinivas Kodiyalam

Srinivas has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1988. He co-designed and developed the original version of Design Sensitivity and Optimization Modules (Solution Sequence 200) in the commercial CAE software, MSC Nastran (for MSC.Software). Srinivas has since then worked at General Electric Corporate R&D Center, Schenectady, NY, and Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, Palo Alto, CA on applying Simulation based Design methods including CAE and MDO to realistic aerospace (spacecrafts, missiles) and aircraft engine design problems. Srinivas served as the first CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Engineous Software Inc., RTP, North Carolina, managing the product planning/strategy and co-developing the iSIGHT process integration and multidisciplinary design optimization software. Srinivas has been with SGI (Silicon Graphics, Inc.) for the last 8+ years focused on HPC business development, manufacturing industry marketing and is presently responsible for SGI's Japan and Asia-Pacific sales.
