Dear All

I have just done some search to find efficient and low cost barebone system with intel 5520 mainboard. I found many barebone system from the well known server builders but no one specialized for the computation node in a cluster, in the other word most of them have some peripheral or add-on which is not required in a computation cluster. so we should pay for the extras which is not needed !

I found Supermicro Twin barebones very suitable and price competitive, each barebone carry two 5520 (Tylersburg) mainboard with onboard Infiniband network adaptor. It's price is very low and we can build a cluster with more processing power with these barebones in by limited budget and space. you can read more Spec about it here

So what are you think about Twin barebone systems ? did you have any experiences ? I will appreciate if any one can share his/her experience with me.
